Actinic Keratosis
Could a New Light-Based Approach Help Treat Actinic Keratosis?
This clinical research study is evaluating a light-based treatment in adults with mild to moderate actinic keratosis lesions on the face or scalp. Researchers will assess how well the treatment clears lesions while monitoring skin response, safety, and treatment tolerability. Depending on how lesions respond, participants may receive a second light therapy session.
Taking part in actinic keratosis clinical trials may give eligible participants access to an investigational treatment with regular skin monitoring and support from a dedicated study team. It also offers an opportunity to contribute to research that could shape future AK treatment options.
