Robert Wallace, BS, CCRC
President and Chief Executive Officer
Robert Wallace is the President and CEO of Physicians Research Group (PRG). Robert founded PRG in late 2014 with the vision of providing clinical trials as a care option to physicians and patients alike. Robert has over 15 years of clinical research management, business development, and healthcare experience. He received two Bachelor of Science degrees from Arizona State University in Molecular Biology and Molecular Biosciences and Biotechnology. Robert is a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator and is a member of the Association of Clinical Research Professionals, the Society of Critical Care Medicine and the AZBio Association.
Jason Babcock, MBA, CMPE
Chief Operating Officer
Jason is the COO of Physicians Research Group. He brings over 20+ years of healthcare administration experience to the organization. He brings a strong background in finance, HR, business development, operational improvement, and customer service to PRG. Jason received his master’s degree from the University of Phoenix in 2001 with a concentration on healthcare administration. He is an active member of the Medical Group Managers Association, past president of the Arizona Medical Group Managers Association, and a Certified Medical Practice Executive with the American College of Medical Practice Executives.
Amanda Feczko, RN
Regulatory Affairs Manager
Amanda Feczko joined Physicians Research Group in 2014 with a wealth of knowledge and experience in the medical and research field. Prior to graduating nursing school with high distinction in 2011 where she also minored in biological sciences, she was nationally certified and registered as an Emergency Medication Technician. As a Registered Nurse she has worked in a variety of specialties including Neurological, Acute trauma/surgical care and fertility treatment.
Amanda’s intense attention to detail and thoroughness make her a key asset to the PRG team. Amanda specializes in regulatory and FDA compliance as well as implementing and improving PRG’s quality assurance programs. Amanda is a true cowgirl at heart always looking to ride her beautiful horses in her free time.
Emily Babcock, DHS, PA-C
Director of Clinical Affairs
Dr. Babcock is the Director of Clinical Affairs and her objective is to enhance relationships between PRG and our principle investigator sites, while educating or re-educating physicians and staff on the current trials and the benefits they pose over the standard of care medications or procedures.
After growing up in a small town in Wisconsin, Dr. Babcock earned an undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1994 and her degree in physician assistant studies at Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois in 1997. In 2004, she earned an MPAS degree from the University of Nebraska. Dr. Babcock has practiced clinically in the fields of internal medicine, dermatology, and physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R), and became an Associate Clinical Professor (PA educator) in 2007 teaching at Northern Arizona University and AT Still University. She finished her Doctor of Health Science degree through Nova Southeastern University in September of 2012.
Maureen Fogarty, ASN, FNE
Associate Director of Clinical Affairs & Clinical Research Coordinator
Maureen is the Associate Director of Clinical Affairs, a Clinical Research Coordinator, and the perfect fit for PRG's directive of taking novel steps to help provide our principle investigators with additional tools to identify potential patients and truly understand the benefits of clinical trials. Maureen graduated from Ivy Tech State College in Bloomington, IN with a nursing degree and enjoyed a clinical and hospital nursing career that spanned over 20 years. During her career, she was an extremely successful pharmaceutical sales representative who launched five new therapies in five years.
Kristina Bauer, PA-C
Board Certified Physician Assistant
Kristina joined PRG in 2014 as our resident Physician Assistant. Kristina is a highly skilled, board certified practitioner specializing in Women’s Health. She received her Bachelor of Science in Cardio-pulmonary Sciences degree from the University of Central Florida. Her love of warm, but less humid, weather brought her to Arizona, where she received her Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from A.T. Still University, in Mesa. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, running (she’s run 10+ marathons), wake boarding, surfing, and snowboarding. Kristina loves to spend weekends with her husband on the boat or watching football if they aren’t traveling.Ms. Bauer takes special care to maintain open lines of communication with our patients, patient partners/spouses, and treating physicians. Feedback from our patients is that, “Ms. Bauer is sensitive, compassionate, and very understanding,” as patients are guided through their individualized treatment process.
Jilanne Rose, DNP, ANP-C
Board Certified Nurse Practitioner
Dr. Rose is our board-certified doctorate adult nurse practitioner specializing in Cardiology. She graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1996 and went on to earn her Master’s Degree in Nursing from Vanderbilt University in 2004 and DNP in 2017. Jilanne is Phoenix Metros only Nurse Practitioner that has been trained extensively by a Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgeon, an Interventional Radiologist, and an Interventional Cardiologist. She is highly regarded by patients and physicians who seek her out because of her expertise in vein disease, her commitment to compassionate care, and her excellent success rates.
Feedback from our patients is that, "Jilanne is an extremely compassionate and genuine person who cares for each of her patients individually. Patients meeting her for the first time are immediately comfortable with her care from the beginning. Jilanne has incredible knowledge in a variety of different specialties and shares her knowledge with her patients to answer any of their questions."
Lindsey Butler, BSN
Senior Clinical Research Coordinator
Lindsey joined Physicians Research Group in 2018 as a clinical research coordinator. A 2011 Bachelor of Science in Nursing graduate from Chamberlain College of Nursing, Lindsey worked in behavioral health and dermatology before being introduced to clinical research in 2016. Over the past few years, she has successfully participated in over 20 studies. She was immediately drawn to PRG’s cross-functional research model to understand the mechanisms of disease biology and drug actions. Her calm manner, attention to detail, nursing background, and drive to be a part of identifying new medications and therapies make her a perfect addition to the PRG team.
Britney Hammel, BS
Clinical Research Assistant
Britney joined PRG in 2018 after moving to Phoenix from Tucson, Arizona. Britney graduated from The University of Arizona with a Bachelor's of Science degree in physiology with minors in biochemistry and psychology. She has excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and is dedicated to continued learning. Britney cares deeply for patients and understands the stress and anxiety that can occur participating in a trial.
Lauren King, BS
Clinical Research Coordinator
Lauren joined Physicians Research Group in 2018 as a clinical research coordinator. Lauren graduated from The University of Arizona with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Public Health with a minor emphasis on psychology. Lauren holds experience in conducting phase II – IV clinical trials in Dermatology, Orthopedics, Fertility, and Podiatry. She is genuine, sincere, and dedicated to helping patients understand the benefits participating in clinical research.
Lexie King, BS
Clinical Research Coordinator
Lexie joined Physicians Research Group in 2015 as a clinical research coordinator and now works part-time while attending PA school. Lexie graduated from The University of Arizona with a Bachelor's of Science degree in physiology with a minor emphasis on psychology. Lexie’s passion for the medical field and, research in particular, came from a medical brigade trip to Panama where she volunteered in a local hospital. Lexie holds experience in conducting phase II – IV clinical trials in Dermatology, Fertility, and Podiatry.
Sean Moriarty, BA
Senior Clinical Research Coordinator
Sean joined our team in 2018 as a clinical research coordinator. He graduated from Arizona State University with Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and has successfully participated in over 15 studies during the past two years. Prior to entering the clinical research field, he enjoyed a 20 year career as an ophthalmic technician and proudly served in the United States Marines. Sean is detailed, compassionate, and thoroughly dedicated to helping patients in need.
